Except the issues with figuring out how the mounts will fit, the lights itself are good. Please provide some instructions or diagrams for DIY enthusiasts.

I have a Honda Highness CB 350 which i use for long rides. While i had no problem in the city with the Stock setup, It is inadequate outside urban areas. In rain or fog there is nothing to see, and you need to stop. Also on highways, nowadays lorries, busses, cars have number of lights(sometimes 14). You are blinded. So i installed the Mad dog ScoutX and i must say i am impressed. The road is visible and you can see the potholes clearly during rain. Oncoming vehicles now dip their lights making it easier for both of is. The build quality is good., feels robust. Got is fitted are the dealers shop itself. The lights are pricey but i guess you need to pay for quality. and i hope they last..

I decided to buy maddog after searching for multiple options.Market had lot of duplicate Chinese products but this one is such a quality product. The heaviness of the metal housing and wires are so good. The wire harness and switch pro tailored with care so that it fits directly in your bike and has no fuss. My only suggestion only is to make the ignition connection white wire thicker or make it braided , because it is such a vulnerable position under the handle .

I recently bought a complete set of ScoutX light Combo from Crossroads Mira-road outlet, in Mumbai. I really miss the presence of a complete installation guide with this product as it leaves the purchaser solely on the mercy of the mechanic. The lights are good and gives confidence while night riding, but as a user, i need some printed instruction on how to aim this lights correctly. The throw feels more of a flood light then 50% spot was not that visible, gives a clear field view of around 20-30m only while mounting on the crash guard. looking for some other mounting arrangement, as with little height i may be able to get full advantage of this light.

I wanted a small, subtle aux lights for my Jeep and went ahead with ScoutX. The output is absolutely amazing and the build quality looks strong. Good buying experience as well. Would strongly recommend. The filter caps are a bit loose though.

I've been using this product for about 6 months now. This is a brilliant product. I'm using this extensively for my rides in the western ghats. With a combination of spot and flood, it does the job. Would recommend this product. The yellow filter works good with fog and mist.

One of the best Performance Aux Lamps are the Scout X Aux Lamps by Mad Dog. I've mounted them on my JAWA 42 they are simply awesome and perform as per the product specifications. Along with the Aux Lamps i've purchased the performance Harness, Switch Pro, Fork Mounts and Aux Filters. Each and every product is Superb and simply does the work. I've recently tried and tested during extreme rain conditions and works seamlessly Superb. Thanks to the entire team.

These are absolutely better than the Baja Designs S1 on my 2019 390 Duke which costs 3-4x more which has same light output/wattage. Blinded by it's output. These have a very focused spot beam which illuminates really long distances whilst providing midfield illumination courtesy of TIR optics. 5000K colour temperature is perfect for ultimate in comfort lighting. These light pods are best used for speeds upto to 80kph/higher. I use these mainly as a high beam with Switch pro's flash/pass function to save power consumption as opposed to being always on. I wish maddog team launches a version of light pods which mimics SAE/DOT wide fog beam with sharp cut off which can be used as low beam in busy roads/during inclement weather conditions. Definitely would recommend.

I had installed Scout X lights with Switch, Wire harness and Clamps (all from Maddog). Recently I did night driving on my bike for almost 300 Kms and Visibility provided by Scout X lights was really great.. With clear visibility ur chances of accidents are almost nil...I will Suggest Maddog lights to all the long distance bike riders..

बाजार में मिलने वाले फॉग लाइट से एकदम भिन्न लाइट होने के करण इसे मैने अपने कार मे भी स्थापित किया है साथ हि इसके लाईट फिल्टर इसके लाईफ को बढ़ा देते हैं ........लाईट तो जबर्दस्त है ....सस्ते LED जैसे एकदम सफेद भी नहीं है.....सामने से आने वालों को भी परेशान नहीं करते.....

नमस्कार दोस्तों 🙏🏼 कम से कम छह महीने सोचने के बाद मैंने maddog scout x के दो pair with harness pro, switch pro के साथ order किया total bill 9500/- के आस पास था। packing तो average थी मगर products गजब थे , सही भी लगा के maddog वालों ने packing box पे ध्यान न दे कर product पे focus किया है, कोई भी तार बिना काटे installation complete हो गया , ओर swich pro तो जैसे बाईक का ही हिंसा मालूम पड़ता है, मेरे ओर मेरे दोस्त दोनों ने ही नए metro supernova brown में लगवाया है . हर एक ने सराहा है light को, एक गलती की मैंने के सोचने में बहुत देर लगा दी । आख़िर में बस यही कहूँगा के…… महँगा है पर बेहतर है…. Thanks Maddog team .

Using these lights on my ktm 390 . Super happy. Superb performance n looks great. Very bright n covers the required area perfectly. Used in rains, no issue. Got my friends to use the same on their bikes n they too have the same opinion. Great work team. Keep it up

The lights are too good as they help a lot in Ghat Roads and highways. Lights are built with good quality. The allen key type bolts should be of good quality. While tightening the Allen key slips easily. But Worth for every rupee spent.

These aux lights are a good buy if you do a bit of night riding. They provide good illumination and improve visibility over stock head lights. Installation is breezy as every thing is just plug n play. The wiring harness and the switch from maddog are a perfect match. Now if you can only decide where on you bike you want to mount them and select a clamp from their wide variety, you are good to go. And there is always the pride if made in India.
